I have started to analyze TMS570LS3137 controller, i would like to know the Boot options available for this controller, could not get much information from the TRM.
I have used C2000 Family, there it had a option to boot from SCI as well, we could load the boot software via SCI into RAM and later load the application via same SCI port to Flash , is this feature available in this controller.

Hi Nagesh,
Hercules devices (including TMS570LS3137) doesn't have ROM bootloader. These devices only support boot from flash.
So, after Power ON Reset the code in the flash will get executed from address 0x0.
And refer below app notes to understand the initialization sequence of Hercules devices:

There won't be any predefined code from manufacturer. After controller out of the reset it will directly starts executes the code from 0x0 address of the flash.
So, there won't be any primary bootloader concept here. I mean the primary code should always need to be send over JTAG communication using either CCS or Uniflash.

So, to achieve your requirement you need to create your own primary bootloader, secondary bootloader and application all itself.
I mean your primary bootloader is kind of fixed code and you will program it only one time in flash through JTAG as mentioned earlier. And this primary code can be a UART or Ethernet or CAN or any other bootloader. This primary bootloader functionality is that it will receive the secondary bootloader and it will program it in the flash from next to it. And similarly, your secondary bootloader functionality is that it will receive the application code from UART or Ethernet or CAN or any other communication and stores the application from next to it in the flash.
I don't have any examples for this primary and secondary bootloader concepts. We have only bootloader examples for UART or Ethernet or CAN you can refer them and try to develop your code.
