Hi,

What is the current status of the printf() function support on the Hercules series?

I saw that the link from this thread is no longer available:

In my case - I simply need it for logging purposes, to ease my life during development. No need to be stable, or "real-time", or production-ready at all.

Hi Varban,

If you are not using FreeRTOS in your project, then there won't be any issues with the printf(), you can free to use it.

But if you are using FreeRTOS in your project, then please use Chester given method to increase the stack size for your task in below thread:

Hi Jagadish,

I am still a bit lost... where exactly is the recommended place to change the stack size from? Is it a "global" project configuration (from CCS or even from HALCoGen), or the stack size upon task creation in FreeRTOS (xTaskCreate)?
