They are asking if we have an open-circuit control demo (no feedback)?

Can you elaborate further - is this something to do with motor control. All examples and demos , if any are part of MCU+ SDK or Motor Control/ Industrial Comm SDKs

hi Mukul，

thanks for your reply，yes this is related to motor control. Customer knows we have the motor control sdk, and already run some of the demo on the evm board already. Customer is asking if we have an example for the open circuit control demo which means there is no encoder feedback.

Ok thanks for the additional background. I have reassigned to one of our Motor Control SDK experts. Responses maybe delayed as Aug 15th is a holiday for TII.

We do not have any example with just open loop control. We have TIDEP-01032 EtherCAT-Connected Single-Chip Dual-Servo Motor Drive Reference Design which includes position and current feedback. One option is to refer to this project and build for open loop mode which does not need feedback.
