I am working on setting up the connection monitor example using CC2640. I will see if I observe the same output you are observing. 

In the meantime, can you give me more details on the error you are seeing? If the connection monitor failing to monitor a connection? Are you losing the connection at a certain distance? Please provide more details of the behavior you are observing!

TI board doesn't return the RSSI value to the Python script.

Do you see the RSSI values if you open a PuTTy terminal for the connection monitor device? In the guide, the terminal connected to the connection monitor device will output the RSSI values. 

Let me know what you see when you try this.

Hello Issac,

The Python script uses the COM port to transfer connection information from the Host board to the CM board. This data should appear in your terminal window while the script is running, as per TI's documentation.

I am observing the same behavior as you and am currently attempting to debug the behavior. Can you provide me with your step-by-step instructions for the connection monitor setup. If the setup is identical to the guide, also let me know. 

Have you attempted to complete the steps for CM_FlashOnly_MultiMode only?

Additionally, I think this previous E2E thread may be helpful.

I followed the steps in the example documentation exactly.

However, the E2E thread you linked seems to be using an older SDK version, and the example structure is different now. I wasn't able to adapt it successfully.
