Hi, everyone!
I'm currently working with the AM2434 device and facing an interesting challenge. My application requires two standard 1Gb Ethernet ports and one USXGMII at 1Gb. Given that the application connects to only one port at a time, a 1Gb Ethernet switch for these three networks seems like a potential solution.
I'm looking for insights on how to connect these three networks efficiently to the AM2434. Have you encountered a similar setup or have suggestions on the best approach?
Thanks in advance for your thoughts and expertise!
Cheers,
Baruch
Hi Baruch,
Thanks for your query.
You are looking for 2 Ethernet port with RGMII-1G spped ?
Each port will be connected with single application running on R5F_0_0 ?
or
2 Ethernet port having traffic from 2 R5F cores (R5F_0_0 and R5F_0_1) ?
Please refer below SDK example and let me know if you need further help ?

I asked a different question. Is there a way to connect 3 external channels to a AM2434 SWITCH.
My application requires two standard 1Gb Ethernet ports and one USXGMII at 1Gb. At any time i uses only 1 IP.
thanks
Baruch
3 external channels to a AM2434 SWITCH
Means,
My application requires two standard 1Gb Ethernet ports and one USXGMII at 1Gb
2 standard Ethernet ports definetly possible. I am check internally for USXGMII support ?

For the USXGMII at 1Gb i connect it with a phy. now i am using monolithic ethernet switch. I ask if there is a way to ignore the hardwire switch for my application.
Best Regards

I am check internally for USXGMII support ?
I have checked internally and confirmed that there is no support for USXGMII on AM243x.
