AM2634: Pin on AM2634 to interface with BLOCK LOCK pin of NAND flash

Part Number: AM2634

Tool/software:

Hi, we are using AM2634 with Nand flash from Micron (part number MT29F4G08ABAFAWP )

Unlike other NAND devices, this NAND device has a BLOCK LOCK pin .

is there a pin in GPMC block (AM2634) to interface with BLOCK LOCK pin of the NAND device.

  • Hi Sathyadev,

There is no dedicated pin from GPMC controller for this functionality.

But from my understanding Block Lock pin in used during the initiation phase of flash. In that case you can configure any unused pin in the GPMC to GPIO functionality and pull up/down as needed.
