I am using a TMS570 Development kit board. I have been trying to flash a sample code on the dev kit.
However, the process fails with the following Error :
Error connecting to the target: (Error -2131 @ 0x0) Unable to access device register. Reset the device, and retry the operation. If error persists, confirm configuration, power-cycle the board, and/or try more reliable JTAG settings (e.g. lower TCLK). (Emulation package 12.7.0.00105) .
How can i rectify this issue. Whether it is related to some hardware or software.
The JTAG integrity test also succeeds when i verify the connection. I am using Code composer studio and XDS100v2 USB Debug Probe.

So, you are using on board debugger only, right? Not external debugger?
What is the status of the below Highlighted LED's?
After connecting 12V power supply all the 4 LED's on the right side of the board should lit.
And after connecting debugger cable to the PC then D12 LED should lit.
