Tool/software:
Inconsistency between CCS 6 Memory Browser MCU TRM (SPNU563A) detected.
The CCS memory browser shows the following information (data taken from image shown below):
- PINMMR171
- Size: 20 bytes
- Start Address: 0xFFFF 1FBC
- PINMMR172
- Size: 4 bytes
- Start Address: 0xFFFF 1FD
From the following TRM tables the following data can be taken:
- PINMMR171
- Size: 4 bytes
- Start Address: (0xFFFF 1C00 + 0x03BC) = 0xFFFF 1FBC
- PINMMR172
- Size: 4 bytes
- Start Address: (0xFFFF 1C00 + 0x03C0) = 0xFFFF 1FC0
It is believed this issue is a bug present in the following CCS file:
C:\ti\ccsv6\ccs_base\common\targetdb\Modules\hercules\hercules_iomm_tms570lc43xx.xml
Offsets do not match those reported by the TRM.
