Hello Team,

Currently my customer is using MSPM0G1507 on their board and need to load firmware in their factory. I want to check with you for below two questions, thanks!

Does the device support PMBUS load firmware?
What's the file format of the firmware required?
Even better, is there a user guide for loading firmware?

Hi Qiang,

PMBus isn't supported for the ROM BSL, so it won't be applicable for factory programming. The customer can make a secondary bootload for in-field updates if they want to use PMBus.

The device is an Arm Cortex M0+ so our device can be programmed with a wide variety of programming tools. Though, I'll recommend the TI Tools like Uniflash or using the newly released C-Gang programmer. The file format isn't important for loading the program but I would check on the flashing program for what it supports. Typical programming formats are binary, intel hex, TI-txt, etc.
