We use this for our driver product, recently, I noticed a product is lost from network and IP address is not pingable, tried to plug/unplug Ethernet cable, which usually trigger a network re-init function failed to get an IP address - it shows all 0.0.0.0. We end up software reset the product, and then it back to work.

I wonder what is the reason for Ethernet stops working and is there a way to detect it from application and self recover? I am not using RTOS BTW, only bare metal based on lwip 1.4.1.
