TMS570LS0714: Memory Corrupted on BANK-7

Part Number: TMS570LS0714

Tool/software:

Hello TI support,

Unfortunately I'm facing a problem in a data structure I have stored in BANK-7. I'm having a hard time replicating the issue. But the data seems to get completely corrupted, this is creating some problems in field units. There is a section on this in the technical reference manual section 5.5:  Power On, Power Off, and Reset Considerations. Since I'm not able to replicate the issue, my suspicion is that power-off occurs during a very precise timing, for instance during a write or erase procedure of this structure. I'm writing this post to look for further debug strategies and tips on memory debugging.

Let me know your thoughts or if further details on this are needed.

Thanks,

Martin Blocher

  • Hi Martin,

The reason for unlocking this thread is that it is not closed properly from TI side, so i unlocked it again.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

I never saw this issue before,

Are you using FEE (Flash Emulated EEPROM) for writing or just FAPI library you are using?

Anyway, i will again try to check from my end whether any issues reported on this.
