AM263P4: Off-chip Trace Configuration In non-Dev Bootmode #2

Part Number: AM263P4

Tool/software:

Hello,

Further to the related question and the document https://www.ti.com/lit/an/spradp0/spradp0.pdf where it says...

  • If I use  sbl_ospi.release.tiimage from SDK 10.1.x or I rebuild our SBL with a copy of  hsmRtImg.h from SDK 10.1.x, then I can use a QSPI 1S or OSPI 8S boot mode to load an application that can use the TRACE port. Is that correct please?

  • In your CMM script for AM263P4, it says:

&sbl=TRUE() ; When running in QSPI Bootmode

If you set this to false and therefore use DevBoot mode, there is no HSMRt loaded which means the TRACE port is locked. In other words, DevBoot mode cannot be used and sbl should never be set to false in this script. Is that correct?

, , . Sorry but I'n a bit of a hurry with this. Pls can you respond today?

Thank you very much.
