TMDSEMU200-U: XDS200 Debugger probe Error

Hi,

We are using XDS200 DEBUG Probe to Flash the code on to TMS5704357BZ Micro-controller .

It is observed that the Debug probe goes bad suddenly while Flashing the code. The Error pop-up screen is as below.

The power supply voltages to the controller is all fine & there is NO fluctuations in the voltages to the controller.

Can you tell us the possible reason for the above Error.

We have been working on TMS5704357BX Micro-controller for past 2 years. In this span of 2 years, about 6 nos of Debug Probe has gone bad.

Hi KPL,

How frequently this issue is happening for you? Is it happening every time you are debugging or sometimes it is happening?

This issue might happen anyone of the several reasons, so make sure below things:

1. Make sure you are getting proper voltages on the board (3.3v and 1.2v etc).

2. Make sure ribbon connector between XDS200 and Controller board doesn't have problems.

3. If it is a custom board then please verify the JTAG circuit connectivity proper or not.
