Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AM2632

Tool/software:

I would like to ask if the JTAG and SPI0 reserved interfaces for burning and debugging of AM2632 meet the requirements? 2. Does the model and connection method of FLASH meet the requirements?

  • Hi Kerwin,

    1. JTAG
      1. JTAG pinout looks good. The 33-ohm series termination resistors are not required. The only requirement for series termination resistor on the JTAG interface is a 22-ohm resistor on the TDO net.
    2. SPI0
      1. Note that SPI0 cannot be used for programming AM2632. AM2632 also cannot boot from SPI0. SPI0 is only used as a communication interface.
    3. QSPI
      1. Connections to the Flash device look good. I would recommend a weaker pull-down on the QSPI0_CLK net - 100k is what is used in TI designs.

Please refer to the AM26x Hardware Design Guidelines document as you complete your design. It is an excellent resource!

For a full schematic review, please reach out to your local TI representative, and they can help submit a formal review request.

    Regards,

    Brennan
