AM2434: How to add software ISR

Tool/software:

I need to create a software event from the PRU_1 core to trigger an ISR on the R5_0-0 core. What is the standard procedure on the AM2434 to do this? I can't find anything in the sysconfig tool to configure this, which there should be. I can't seem to find any documentation on this that is straightforward to follow.
