RM57L843: HalCoGen and EMIF SDRAM 13 pin Address mapping vs 12-Bit Address Mapping

Part Number: RM57L843
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: HALCOGEN

Tool/software:

Hello,

We are using the Hercules HDK RM57 reference  board for development which has an EMIF SDRAM 64MB part with what our HW team understood to be 13-bit EMIF Address pin mapping (A0..A12) to the SDRAM part (screen shot from TI's HDK schematic below from page 13 attached). Is this understanding correct? The SDRAM part is obsoleted, and the HW team wanted to use another 64MB part that had a 12 pin mapping. Will this work, or does it need to be a 13-pin SDRAM that can be mapped like the one used on the HDK board?  If a different part with 12 pins would work, (EMIFA0 .. A11) what needs to change in the HalCoGen code that works for our HDK for the difference in pin mapping, and can we change that in HalCoGen or it needs to be done manually?
