Hello,

Related to my query on determining counter direction, would it be possible to use the capture channel in some way to determine the length of a fault?

Customer has the counter configured to keep running while a fault condition is present.

Use Time to capture fault time is available, just use GPIO event to trigger Timer start counter is fine. Not sure if you are asking those solution.

Hey Johnson,

I'm fairly sure that the fault signal comes from the internally routed comparator signal, so are you suggesting that the customer route out the COMP_OUT signal to a GPIO and then back in to the timer?

Is there a way to do that internally?

I don't see a way to route the Fault signal (itself) to the CCOND, but over here someone is feeding COMP0_OUT to the CCOND using IFCTL:ISEL=7. I've suggested he also route COMP0_OUT to the Fault input to the get Fault trigger (CCP output) he wants:
