RM57L843: RM57 HDK Reference Board - cannot toggle NHET1[28] K19 GIO Output pin

Hello,

We are using your RM57 HDK reference board and used HalCoGen to configure K19 NHET1[28] as an output GIO pin (see screen shot below), but after initialization the value of the pin is 1 and when try to set the pin to 0, we cannot change its value.

It is configured below in HET1 tab. Can this NHET1 pin be repurposed as a GIO output pin on this board or how can we configure it to use as an output pin and if so how should we configure it in HalCoGen (or manually) to function as a GIO output pin? Thank you again.

Hi Sunny,

Your HALCoGen configuration seems to be fine.

The only thing you need to make sure in the code is this:

int main(void)
{
/* USER CODE BEGIN (3) */
gioInit();
hetInit();

gioSetBit(hetPORT1, 28, 0); // drive output Low
while(1)
{
;
}
/* USER CODE END */

return 0;
}

Don't forget to call "hetInit" function before using gioSetBit API, because hetInit API only initializes the corresponding pin in output direction.
