Part Number: AM261X-TIFS-SDK
WE run CC version 12.
Really dont want to upgrade to 20 at this time as we have strict rules on compiler changes
I just got my AM261 Sitara launchpad hooked up.
I reloaded latest CC v12...fresh.
Selected all the devices we use: Hercules, OMAP, C2000, and SITARA...
CC loads...
I try to "import the "hello world" thing from the installed directory:
C:\ti\mcu_plus_sdk_am261x_11_01_00_19\examples
CC barks at me saying :

Device 'Cortex R.AM261x' is not currently recognized:
- Re-run CCS installer on your existing CCS location, ensure the Product Family for your device is selected, and proceed with installation if it wasn't.
- See 'Help > Check for Updates' to check if support for this device is available through a CCS update.
- Migrate the project to closest matching supported device by adjusting project properties.
- Or contact TI for support if using experimental silicon.

(I saw a post with same issues...but tried that "Add Software" in the HELP and it couldnt find anything...
