Is this same E2E post as below -
XDS110ISO-EVM: USB is not recognized nor LED is glowing
Vivek Singh
Good morning!!
Thats right but the problem i had selected a wrong device. So i had been for measurements, there was mismatch in the layouts and readings. Moreover, it was almost 2months old.
Could you help us? in the correct layout for measuring the TPs?
I need the datasheet and also the TPs layout.
Issue is when i tried to update the Boot firmware it somehow got corrupted and i could not recover the board as usb detection also failed.
Hello,
Apologies for the delay. Does the XDS110 show up in the device manager view?
We can share the XDS110 schematic and User’s Guide to help debug, the test points (TP) are labeled on the schematic.
Best,
Matt
Hello Matt Kukucka
XDS110 does not show up in the device manager!!
Let me know the test points i have measure
Hello,
If the green LED (D1) is off, then the XDS110 is not powered, booting, or in flashing mode. Since you're unable to interface with the XDS110 with the xdsdfu utility, the probe seems to be faulty. Did the debugger ever work for you or did it arrive dysfunctional?
Let me know the test points i have measure
You can open the debug probe casing using a screwdriver and find the various TPs by referring to the schematic I provided.
Best,
Matt
Hello Matt Kukucka
even i feel it seems to be faulty. It could see the led glowing, when started to update boot firmware it stopped and i could not have the interface at all.
Later led was not glowing nor there was detection of usb in device manager in any PC!!
Do you suggest some ways to recover the probe in some way? or check few basic test points particularly?
Hello,
I'm assuming you've already tried using the xdsdfu utility in CCS (ccs\ccs_base\common\uscif\xds110)?
Please check TP2, TP3, TP6, TP17, TP18 to start and see if they align with the schematic.
Best,
Matt
