MSPM0L1116: Clarification on timer additional current compared to RA0E2 values

Part Number: MSPM0L1116

Hi,

In this thread I understand that MSPM0L1116 does not provide per-peripheral current specs, and it was suggested that enabling a timer in STANDBY mode does not significantly increase current:
https://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/arm-based-microcontrollers-group/arm-based-microcontrollers/f/arm-based-microcontrollers-forum/1620359/mspm0l1116-why-only-mode-based-current-specs-any-per-peripheral-current-data

For comparison, Renesas RA0E2 lists interval timer additional current of about 0.06 µA (typ).

From your experience with MSPM0:

  • When a timer is enabled in STANDBY, would the additional current be in the same sub-µA range as RA0E2?

  • Or would it typically be lower / higher than that level?

We understand this may not be an official spec, but even a qualitative engineering perspective would be helpful.

Thanks,

Conor
