In above same table you can find out other devices which as 2 SCIs in the same series of controllers.

We need same kind of implemenation guildlines normal SCI TX ISR with example programs and HALCOGEN settings, Till now we could not configure SCI Tx ISR functions with our previous conversations. It will be useful for our regular application throughput handle.

Also there is another query on boot-loader to this controller TMS570LS0432, If you can support on the boot-code for this and we need to implment for field program updates and use with our diagnostic tool we would able to load with CAN boot philosophy.

Regarding FOTA implementation, we don't have any examples for single flash bank devices. This device has only single flash bank, so it is very difficult to implement FOTA on this device. Whereas we have other Hercules micro controllers with dual bank capability for them we have examples as well.

I don't understand your question here, could you please provide more details.

This controller has only one serial port. We are implementing communication with a Quectel chipset using AT command flow.

Currently: Reception(RX-Interrupt), Transmission (TX) is working correctly (polling).

However, when both TX and RX are enabled in interrupt mode, we are unable to receive data. Even though all required settings have been configured in HALCoGen, the interrupt is not getting triggered.

Could you please provide: A reference example or test case where both TX and RX interrupts are working together?

                                          Any specific configuration required for this use case.

Is FOTA means wireless boot philosophy? 

In our application we will take the bin-file from our server but the interface used for booting the controller is SCI only.

Does this controller support SCI boot or do we need to move to any incremental version of controller like TMS570LS0714PGE supports boot through SCI.

Based on your reply, we will think of switch to TMS570LS0714PGE package as it is having 2-SCI, more RAM size.

FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) is a wireless update methodology, but it refers to the delivery mechanism rather than the actual boot process itself.

Regarding your specific question about SCI boot support:

• The TMS570 family does support booting through SCI (Serial Communication Interface)
• This allows you to download firmware through a serial interface during the boot process

Your plan to switch to the TMS570LS0714PGE seems reasonable based on your requirements since it offers:

• Two SCI interfaces (providing redundancy or additional communication channels)
• Increased RAM size (beneficial for firmware update operations)
• SCI boot capability

For your FOTA implementation, you would:

1. Download the bin-file from your server (using whatever communication method)
2. Then use the SCI interface to program the controller

This approach is valid regardless of whether the initial file transfer from your server is wireless or wired, as long as your system can then relay that data to the controller via SCI.
