SBL_OSPI has support for .appimage. In latest SDK, all SBLs support .mcelf image. So sbl_fastboot cannot be used as a substitute for sbl_ospi.

Yes, this can be done. In the application linker, the .rodata and .text section should be kept in flash. The SBL should leave DAC (Direct Access Mode) as on. The hello world xip image can be flashed with SBL image to run the demo.

This cannot be changed. This depends on the device and package.

Any SBL can be used for XIP. If sbl_ospi_multicore_elf is used, then the application image should be mcelf image. If sb_ospi is used, then the application should be .appimage.

Can we use some temporary version to fix this bug? This influence all peripherals configuration when customer uses ZNC because this is the basic clock on the device.
