EK-TM4C1294XL and swd using CCS6?

Hey,

I'm using the EK-TM4C1294XL and hoping to use SWD mode to debug?.

As per the notes in the user guide, I have done the modification and added the header, so now I have an easy way to reconfigure the JTAG connections. Seems to me I should be able to remove TDO and TDI jumpers, and be able to communicate with the onboard target using SWD. But when I do that, all I get in CCS is "unable to conect to target". Section 2.3.1 says that as of March, the Launchpad ICDI can only do JTAG. Does this mean it CANNOT do SWD? And if so, is it still true with the release v6 of CCS?

SO can I use CCS6 and SWD mode when using the EK-TM4C1294XL?

I will be using SWD mode in my design so would like to get that going on the eval kit.
