CCS debug options

Yes, simulators do exist. However I am not sure if the same is available for TM4C12x as the devices are out

Simulators did exist in CCS 5.5 and previous versions.

We do not know why the poster wants a simulator when the actual HW does exist.

Amit I also use simulator to test program reliability or to run some test logging performance and or test cases.
Simulator are useful to produce high quality software and where real time simulation cannot be performed on real hardware without expensive instrumentation whenever possible. If I wish to test tracing of real time I own a fas logic analyzer but I cannot connect to internal bus unavailable from external pin. Also real time tracing is not possible from JTAG debugger nor from more expensive.

I beg to differ here. Simulators are not as fast as the true hardware and even in simulators access to internal bus may be prohibited.
