Can the TM4C129 support eMMC?

Hello Yan,

It is not possible to support the eMMC card on EPI interface. It is however possible to use the QSPI interface with software implementation for supporting the eMMC.

Hi Amit,

From my understanding the QSSI on the TM4C129 has 4 data pins, one clock and one frame signal. However, the eMMC requires 8 data pins, 1 command pin, and one clock. I'm not following how they can be compatible. Can you elaborate a little more?

I am also interested in some code for the eMMC connected to the qSSI. In past I have already connected an eMMC to an totaly other mcu. So I have most of the c-code an the documents.
The only thing I need is the qSSI stuff because I never used qSSI on TIVA aside from qSSI plus cmd wire synchronously ...

Is it possible to get some code-snippets about qSSI connected to an eMMC ?
