Hello TM4C Forum,

As part of the TI Reference Design Portfolio, we have recently added the design for TIDM-TM4C129POEAUDIO (Audio Communication with Power Over Ethernet). This design uses the Booster Pack Header (with minimal changes) for EK-TM4C1294XL and EK-TM4C129EXL to ensure maximum software reuse...

As usual feed-back is much appreciated.

Hi Amit,

Thank you for the great project. Well done with lots of notes and quite comprehensive user guide.

The only question I have about HW is Audio Board. There are two sets of gerber files for the audio board:

1. TIDM_TM4C129POEAUDIO
2. TIDM_TM4CAUDIOFE

Which one should be used if MCU board is EK-TM4C129EXL?

You should refer to the Gerbers for TIDM_TM4C129POEAUDIO. I would submit a correction request to remove the other Gerber set.

Hello Stan

If you are planning to retrofit the Audio and LCD board to the LaunchPad then there is a small software change you would need to make for the POEAUDIO project to work.

Thank you for this note!

I've already made a change to get the touch worked. No problems here. However, when I connect two boards over the net - they freeze and the counters stay 0. And then only power recycling helps. I think it is because I do not have audio boards so far (coming in a few days). But yeah you are more than welcome to share the changes that should be introduced.

Actually I wanted to create another thread with a header like POEAUDIO project on EK-TM4C129EXL LaunchPad, where we can discuss required SW changes for this. Please let me know if this is a right way or we can proceed here.
