Hello,

I'm trying for weeks to make a program that uses cmdline to process a command inserted via UART. Problem is, there's virtually no examples showing how to do it.

Is there a place that I can learn how to make a program with cmdline? Or some simple example for my EK-TM4C1294XL launchpad? I'm just trying to print different messages according to the input received by UART, preferably using uartstdio, but I can consider the alternatives.

I would disagree with that statement there is no example showing how to do the same. Please refer to the following example.

There is actually a ready to use utility to do just that!
Download Tivaware, go into the documents and check SW-TM4C-UTILS-UG-2.1.3.156.
The name of the API is "Command Line Processing Module".

Hello Helder

There is no dedicated example for command line without having something else to go along with it.

As an example the following TI reference design has the command line method to boot a device from SDRAM.
