CCS/TMDXRM57LHDK: TI Demo for LwIP -> Web server doesn't start

Hi,

I set up the Demo as descripe by TI. but the Web server doesn't start. At UART I get this:

HERCULES MICROCONTROLLERS
Texas Instruments
Little Endian device
Initializing ethernet (DHCP)
DEBUG - Getting PHY ID....SUCCESS
DEBUG - Getting PHY Alive Status...SUCCESS
DEBUG - Getting PHY Link Status...SUCCESS
DEBUG - Setting up Link...SUCCESS

I have connected the Eval kit with my PC. On my PC is running a DHCP server at the status page I can see my Eval kit got a IP address and the emacaddress is also to see in the status it is the 00-08-EE-03-A6-6C. How can I debug this? Or did someone know this issue? I have no idea.

Hi, I have found a posting which can be the same issue because when I stop the debugging the system stuck in the same while statement as in the post described. But I have no clue what he has done in the code.

I run the demo on TMS570LC43x HDK twice, and everything works as expected.

I will find a LC43x Launchpad, and do the same test on the launchpad

I tested on TMS570LC4357 Launchpad, it works fine. I followed the steps described in the link:

Hello QJ,

I understand. I have already used the RM57L demo. But I think the Demo with the RM57L is the issue? TMS570LC4357 is another Processor. I think the Demo description for the TMDXRM57LHDK is incorrect. Because when I compare the schematic and the balls in the demo description, there are differences. I have not Please can test this mit the RM57L HDK?

I also saw a few posts with the same issue and RM57L but this posts also with no solution.

Hello Marcel,

The difference between RM57 and TMS570LC4357 is the endianess: RM57 is little endian, and TMS570LC4357 is bug endian. The pinout and pinmux should the exactly same.

Anyway, I will do a test on RM57 launchpad.
