TINA/Spice/TINA-TI: Unable to load and simulate MCU or their EVM in TINA-TI

Hello Great people, hope You are having a great time after Christmas!

I am working on a TI University project, for which I am using the MCU tm4c123gh6pm based EVM (TM4C123GXL). Also I have been suggested to use TINA-TI.Firstly, I cannot find any of the microcontrolers in the components, also, besides the DC analysis, is it possible to simulate the MCU there?

Because I certainly need a CAD tool for doing the simulations....and I can't get to any concrete results.

Hi Prashant,

I think if you use transient simulation (time domain), you might be able to simulate some aspects of the MCU in TINA-TI.

I'll move this post to our MCU forum so that somebody can assist you further to narrow down your simulation need as well as assist you on whether certain aspect of this MCU can be simulated or not.

The TM4C123 microcontroller cannot be totally simulated in TINA. This digital device is too complex for a full spice simulation. The I/O's are represented by the IBIS model. There are links to it on the TM4C123GH6PM device page. However, TINA does not support IBIS models directly either. Here is another thread on this topic:
