Hello All,
I'm trying to build a project in which Ethernet-based application such as TCP/IP is one of the main parameters. In my project's design, I want to connect the MII port of a controller to the MII port of the Ethernet-switch IC (for extra Ethernet connection lines). hence, if anyone can suggest me the best and low-cost controller (with maximum firmware support NON-RTOS based) which supports the MII to MII communication, also, if any good Ethernet-switch (should have at least one Copper and one/ two Fiber only) available?.
Brief basic requirement details:
1. Controller with MII to MII communication support (prefer: bare metal- NON-RTOS based libraries).
2. Application stack for TCP/IP based applications (prefer: bare metal- NON-RTOS based libraries).
3. Minimum 12 Internal ADC channels with 12bit resolution.
4. Sample codes of basic interface
5. If possible an eval board for the above application.
Thanking with Regards

Hello Rogerio Almeida , I want to do the basic Ethernet-based communication (TCP/IP), the only difference is instead of connecting any "Ethernet physical layer transceiver" to controller's MII, I want to connect it with any switch's MII. rest all the process should be the same.
Thanking with regards

Hello,
Direct MAC-to-MAC connections are not supported on Sitara-class devices. The supported topology requires two PHYs, one for each side of the R/MII connection.
