Hi , Sir

I want use DCAM Module to communicate with other cpu, the message length of can is more than 500 bytes. The period of communication is

200ms. And I want use CAN1 and CAN2 at the same time.

Do you have any examples?

Hello,
TMS570LS3137 Supports CAN protocol version 2.0 part A, B. The maximum payload for 1 can message is 8 bytes. To send 500 bytes you have to use multiple messages. One way to achieve this by using message objects (64 message objects can be configured for each CAN module). Another way is to split bytes you want to send in a groups of 8 bytes.

More on CAN modules you could fine in Chapter 24 of device TRM ( www.ti.com/.../spnu499c.pdf ).
Examples on how to use CAN module could be found in Examples folder under HALCoGen installation or using Help->Help topics->Examples menu in HALCoGen. Description how to use examples are in HALCoGen Help as well.

Hello, Thank you for answer my quertion.
Now, I use CAN Interrpupt to send 500 bytes in One MO, register is CAN_SL_CANCtrRegPtr[TMS570_CAN1]->INT;
when the INT is the send data MO number, the CAN will send data with 8 bytes once . so 500 bytes data will Interrpupt 500/8 times.
My question is : Do you have another way to implement the function, for example: DMA or other ways ?
Because I hope my system Have little Interrpute.

Using DMA with DCAN module for transmitting does not give an advantage (here is good explanation on this e2e.ti.com/.../2038008 ).

Sorry, If I don't want use DMA or Interrpute to transfer CAN data, do you know other ways for transfer 500 bytes data once use CAN bus ?

Hello,
The CAN communication can be carried out in any of the following two modes:
1. Interrupt mode
2. Polling mode.
CAN communication is described in chapter 24.9 CAN Message Transfer of device TRM.

Hello,
Now I only want my CAN1 receive data from CAN id=1, so how can i set the registers? ( i want filtering the can data )
