Hi everyone

I'm trying to develop a IR circuit, so every time the infrared light is blocked from the receiver, a counter must sum +1.

What recommendations can you make me?

Every time I try to detect that 0 input in my TIVA, GPIORIS sets to 1 bit 0 of the port I'm using

Not sure if this is related to my ports getting blocked, so after the test I have to use the LMPROGRAMMER in order to unblock my TIVA ports in order to be able to read the data

Hello,
Which port are you using? Are you trying to detecting a falling edge on the pin or rising edge?

Hi,

Please see below pin functions for PE0. You can only use PE0 as AIN3 (ADC input) or U1RTS (UART flow control). You cannot use as a GPIO.

Hi Diego,

Sorry, my bad. You can use PE0 for GPIO. I just tried it and it works for me to generate interrupt on a falling edge of the pin. See below example.
