TMS570LS3137: nERROR pin asserted on ESM event

Part Number: TMS570LS3137

Hi there,

In my code I've expressly disabled influence of ESM registers 1 and 4 on the nERROR pin in case of Group1 events, and it seems that the runtime registry values of ESMEEPAPR1 and ESMIEPSR4, both at 0x0, reflect this configuration (see snapshot).

Using the TMS5703137HDR development board, I believe that I've triggered ESM Group1 event 37 by an invalid IOMM configuration. Even when the its influence on the nERROR pin has been disabled, the HDK onboard red LED (nERROR) is nonetheless lighten up and prevents the program to cold start. Under this situation, I'm able to start the HDK with the JTAG debugger (nERROR remain lit), by directly connecting to the HDK without downloading.

Can you please shed some light on my problem?

Thanks.
