    I have updated the post title to be more meaningful and related to the question asked.

    The CPU is a bus master and connects to bus-slaves via an interconnect. This interconnect checks the CPU's address and control lines for correct parity. Any error is indicated to ESM group1 channel 53.

    MEM12 refers to this mechanism of the CPU interconnect. I stated incorrectly in the other post related to diagnostic mechanisms. I will correct the other post as well.
