TMS570LS0432: Can this MCU support MATLAB/Simulink

Part Number: TMS570LS0432

Can the MCU TMS570LS0432 LaunchPad support MATLAB/Simulink completely?

What are the other modelling software tools available for this MCU?

Does it have any design limitation?

  • Hi Rubena,

You can use MathWorks tools to design and simulate your algorithm, and then generate ANSI / ISO C code of that algorithm. Then you use TI tools to import the algorithm code and to debug / deploy that C code on any TI MCU. Neither MathWorks nor TI has has special customized support for TMS570 [like we do for C2000]

The only MathWorks specific solution is PIL support for RM48 (RM4x is a silicon sibling to TMS570). But this solution is 4-5 years old now, and not directly supported, as the TI engineer who wrote it has moved to a different group.

MathWorks Consulting Services might be able to assist as a paid project. DM me if you would like me to help make the connection to someone at MathWorks Consulting.

    Cheers,
