Hi all,

how are you?

What is the total size of the FEE bank 7 for the RM48L952?

In Halcogen I can see that I can set up up to 4 Virtual sector and there are a total number of 4 flash sector.

So If I want to set up 2 Virtual sectors, what is the size of those in Kbyte?

    Hello Giorgio,

    The size of bank 7 is 64KB. Bank 7 has 4 physical flash sectors, and each sector is 16KB. 

    The virtual sectors is the basic unit used to partition the EEPROM. The virtual sector can contain one or more contiguous flash sectors. A minimum of 2 virtual sectors are required to support the TI FEE driver. 

    If you use two virtual sectors, the size of virtual sector can be 16KB (one flash sector) or 32KB (2 flash sectors). The two virtual sectors should have the same size.
