Hi,

I have a few questions from my customer for SSI AC timing.

For TI Frame Format:
Q1) In master mode, what is SSIFss valid time from the edge of SSIClk?
Is this the same as S6?

Q2) In slave mode, what are SSIFss setup time and hold time?
Are they the same as S12 and S13?

    Hi Koichiro-san,

      There is no AC timing specified for the SSIFss in the datasheet. This means it is an un-characterized parameter. However, I tend to think it will much faster the S6 for the master. The SSIFss is only pulsed high for one SSICLK period in the beginning of the transfer. It should be as fast as SSICLK with perhaps a small delay in my opinion. I would very much doubt that it will be worst than S6. Therefore, if you want to use S6 as the worst case then I don't see an issue with that. Same can be said for slave mode using S12 and S13.
