Hello,

You can use the input as a interrupt source. The MCU generates a PWM signal with specified duty cycle based on the input interrupt.

For example, using NHET to generate PWM (example from HALCoGen, NHET[8..] are used to output PWM. If the input signal is connected to a GIO pin, when this input interrupt occurs, the PWM is started in your GIO ISR.

Can I connect interrupt source to any one of GIO pin......to get pwm output from NHET 8 pin?

How is the link between GIO pin and NHET pin?

Please explain clearly about the link between these two pins.....if possible send me an example code.

Hello SHIVAKUMAR,

Yes, you can use any GIO pin of GIOA/B ports. There is no internal HW link between GIO and NHET pins. You can call pwmstart() in GIO iSR.

Can I expect example coding for pwm signal for ignition timing control once the count reaches 58 from position sensor.
