My customer just wants to know that whether LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 can support both MQTT and MODBUS communication.

    Hello,

    LAUNCHXL2-570LC43 has built-in ethernet PHY and RJ45 ethernet connector, and 570LC43 supports 10/100MHz ethernet MAC (EMAC). There is no problem to use this device for IoT application if the IoT devices are connected through a wired connection.

    If wireless connection is required, you can use CC3x (for example CC3100) launchpad + LAUNCHXL2-570LC43. 

    This launchpad can be used for MODBUS over TCP/IP.

    I am sorry I don't have an example for MODBUS communication over TCP/IP or SPI, etc.
