EK-TM4C1294XL: EK-TM4C1294XL

Part Number: EK-TM4C1294XL

I used the example for ek-tm4c1294xl   enet_uip and change it to read temeperature and it worked well and i can read temeperature in browsers that belong to the local area network in my home, but i need to show this temperature not only on the Local network but in any browser outside the Local Area network. What can i do to enhance this possibility of the example enet_uip ?.

  • Hi,

I don't have experience with uIP. Here is one link that talks about uIP in greater depth that might help particularly section 9 where it talks about connection to the internet. The other example enet_weather based on LwIP will go to the internet to get the weather information from http://openweathermap.org/.

  • Hello Charles: Thanks for your answer. After reading the document (section 9) i do not have the expertise to figure out a solution, at least not with the urgency i require. Could you put me in contact with an enet_uip expert to check if there is a "patch" that could enhance enet_uip for "outside" browsers ?   . Thanks again, César Castellanos

  • Hello Cesar,

Charles is out for the next couple days but he is the foremost expert for Ethernet and uIP we have on the team. Ultimately we are microcontroller device experts supporting the silicon we make at a hardware level and while we try and offer drivers, example codes, and libraries to help speed up software development, we do not provide full application support. Specifically for Ethernet protocols, we do not have the in-depth protocol experience like what you need.
