TMS320F28386D: Register state of clock-gated peripherals

Hello,

As I didn't see it stated in the TRM, I would like to know the state of a peripheral's register if it is clock-gated through the PCLKCRx registers ?

Do all registers read as 0 ?

Hi Clement,

I will need to confirm with our design experts on this. Mostly your understanding is correct, it will read "0" since the clock is gated for those peripherals.

Hi Clement,

Yes, the clocks are gated if PCLKCRx bit is not configured, and Read/Write access will be blocked, so it will read all 0s. We will put a note in TRM.
