TMS320F28034-Q1: Erase time confirmation

Hi,

Per TMS320F2803 microcontrollers the typical erase time is 2, max. 12 us or s. Please clarify if the value in datasheet refers to the erase time of 1 sector or for all. (page 39 in datasheet)

Im seeing mostly 12s per sector.

There is a typo in that table, both rows for 8K/4K sectors should both be in s, so 2s TYP and 12s Max. I will file a LIT bug to get this corrected

This is the erase time per sector.

Maynard,

This device doesn't support bulk erase, so we always have to erase a sector at a time. So the total time, either typ or max, will just be additive of the times listed by the number of sectors on the device.

All devices except the 28030 have 8 sectors, so 16s TYP or 96s MAX for the 28034.
