TMS320F28388D: Sysconfig GUI Input Model Parameters doesn't match the datasheet

Part Number: TMS320F28388D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hi Champ,

I am using the Sysconfig GUI to assist the customer to calculate the ACQPS.

We are going to use 16-bit resolution ADC with single-ended input model.

Since the parameter of Ron, and Ch are different value with the datasheet. It should be 425Ohm and 32.5pF written in the datasheet.

I am not sure if I am using in the wrong way or not.

The ADC configuration is shown in below, and the software product is chosen C2000 SysConfig (3.01).

Please correct me if my setting is incorrect, or is it a GUI issue ?

Thanks and regards.

  • Johnny, I think the values in the GUI are pin specific. Matt/Johnny can you check to see the pin specific table in the datasheet to double check?

  • Hi Nima,

From my side as the same 16-bit resolution ADC with single-ended input model configuration, I changed to other pin.

The parameters of Ron, and Ch of my setting are still the value of 16-bit resolution ADC with "differential" input model.

    Thanks and regards.

  • Oh yes I believe we made a decision to go with those numbers to pick the higher capacitance to be on the safe side. We could implement the diff/single ended mode to betaken into affect as well.

Do you think this is a required feature? If yes, please file a ticket internally and I will assign it to the ADC owner to implement it.

    Nima
