TMS320F280021: I need where to start

Hy.

Coming from MSP430F used in many boards, I moved to a more powerful TMS320F280021.

Then I downloaded all C2000Ware_4 files and started, with Code Composer Sudio, a new project choosing C2000 family and its related micro.

How can i load C2000Ware projects? They need headers files that not exist in CCS.

In project explorer appears 280021_RAM_lnk.cmd (???)

Where are definitions of pins, ports, registers of micro?

Is there some basic example to start with?

Hi Enzo,

Welcome to C2000. You can get started with C2000 devices by going through C2000 Academy.

There are many examples in C2000Ware SDK. You can take a located at:

C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_3_04_00_00/driverlib/f28002x/examples/led

Please take a look at these examples. There is also empty_project, you can use it as starting project by importing it.

Hy, thanks for your help.

I added led_ex1_blinky but when I compile it needs driverlib.h

I added this file, searching in TI directory, but now it needs: #include "inc/hw_memmap.h"

Is there a way less random to find .h files needed?

Ezno,

Please import the project.

Go to CCS menu 'Project -> Import CCS Projects...' and then click 'Browse' button.

Point to the location I mentioned earlier.

C:/ti/c2000/C2000Ware_3_04_00_00/driverlib/f28002x/examples/led

Then the project will be imported in your workspace. It will import all the include path and linker path.
