TMS320F280025C: F280025C i2c communication with ADS1013 (calculate baudrate)

I want to set up baudrate between F280025c and ADS1013 but when I look F280025c datasheet I saw I can config 10kbps to 400 kbps and When I look ads1013 datasheet I saw 128 SPS to 3.3 kSPS how can I calculate baudrate f280025c and ads1013 ?

I use f280025c as a master device and my ADS1013 as a Slave device and I use i2c communication

Hi ,

Since the ads1013 supports I2C Fastmode, you can configure the f280025c device as I2C master to run max upto 400 KHz and establish successful communication

Thank you for your message . Okay but which sps value I have to config for example I use 400 Kbit/s so which bit rate can I get and which sps value I have to choose

Or I can write up to 400Kbit/s and I2C In a synchronous serial transmission and thats why I didnt have to compare Speed between master to slave ?

Hi Toeman,

Sorry, I am not able to understand your question. If you are checking if f280025c and ADS1013 can establish communication at 400KHz I2C clock, yes it is supported.
