Dear team:

My customer has completed the system construction of motor level5 based on this kit.

Now he wants to read the speed data through the serial port. Can the hardware of this kit support reading the speed data through the serial port? Is there any code for serial communication in the routine?

The SCI(UART) module is connected to the FTDI chip on the control CARD, and will be available to transmit data to the host PC on this channel. Customer can find this example of simple echoback C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_01_00_00\device_support\f2837xd\examples\cpu1\sci_echoback\cpu01 to get the settings and dial in the baud rate and then add it to their IDDK code. I'm not familiar with the IDDK examples, it looks like all the watch window variables are coming through JTAG by default.
