Hello, I am trying to use the PHS feature to apply phase shift between the poles of a full bridge, the phase shift that is being applied is variable. Each time I cross the CMPA/CMPB value, I see a missing cycle and that is causing severe issues. Additionally I am using Simulink for auto code generation, so all settings are done in Simulink/Matlab. I am looking for a solution that can be implemented in Simulink. I am also attaching a picture that explain the issue. Thank you for your consideration!

So you set the TBPHS to after the CMPA/CMPB and the action is being missed?

Not exactly, TBPHS is variable from 0 to 10000 (o to 180 deg) and CMPA/CMPB is at 5000 for an UP Down counter.

Yes but does the issue occur when TBPHS is set to 5001 and more?

Yes, this occurs immediately after crossing 5000.

Yes you need to place an action there as well. when you are about to change the TBPHS, if it is more than CMPA, make sure to change CMPA or use another feature of the EPWM to place an action at that point.

That should be the way to get past this.

I see, do you have any suggestions on what other feature of the ePWM that can be used to solve it? I have already try the methods describe in this document pages 9 and 10 and it did not work.

Garry, what did you try from the doc above exactly?

Are you using C2000 SysConfig GUI contiguration tool?

Other solutions are using the SW ACTIONS. or setting the T1/T2 to be EPWMXSYNCI, they set an action for them. I can expand on this. But before that, if you are trying C2000 SysConfig GUI config tool for EPWM it should show those options.
