TMS320F280049: ERROR 354 happens in C2000-GANG

1. The first question is ERROR 354 appears when the TXT file is opened in C2000-GANG. As shown below:

2. And the second question is after opening the HEX file and clicking Save to image, the software crashes. But when using the HEX file compiled by another project, there was no problem when clicked Save to image. In CCS, the HEX file generation setting items are the same for these two projects, so it is suspected that it is related to the HEX file, but it is not clear where the problem is.

Add one information, the self-test of the tool is passed as below:

I can alert the Elprotronics team of this post and ask them to take a look. In parallel can you request the customer contact Elprotronic support directly as well? This will help to escalate the issue. support@elprotronic.com I think that likely Elpro will need the 2 files to reproduce on their end.

Hi Sherman,

The file you sent me is the 8 bits wide hex file but you nbeed 16-b wide file. Did you convert this file with hex2000.exe or did you set option in CCS for creating the 16-b wide hex file?

Thanks for your reply! No action here to convert to 16-bit.

How could we convert 8 bits to 16 bits wide file with hex2000.exe? Any guidance here?
