BOOSTXL-POSMGR: Is IDDK necessary with the SinCos encoder?

Hi Experts,

I have a question about the BOOSTXL-POSMGR board being used with a sin/cos encoder, In the user manual, it says that they used the IDDK board along with the POS MGR is this necessary? Is there an option to use this without the IDDK? Can you confirm?

Also, I checked the user manual of the POSMGR for the SinCos encoder, However, it didn't include details on hardware connection or pins connection. Can you also provide this?
